This French upper intermediate level oboe was made in the 1960’s and plays with a warm tone and good intonation.
This oboe was overhauled and extensively voiced by esteemed oboe repair technician David Teitelbaum in May of 2020.
Brian Charles play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way. This is a perfect upgrade from a school oboe or fine for a community orchestra player.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There was a small crack on the top exterior of the top joint as shown. It was professionally repaired long ago with two pins.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean and excellent condition. The pads are in very good to excellent condition throughout.
This oboe features left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, banana key, and both trill keys.
The Protec integral case is in excellent condition with one small frayed flap. Otherwise it’s near mint.
