This interesting instrument was made by or for Buffet and for Marcel Loree. It’s a French made instrument probably originating from the Marigaux factory. It has a nice, focused tone.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. No cracks.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features offset position left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The semi-soft integral case is in very good condition.
