This is the well-equipped intermediate-level oboe from Buffet. It’s now called the Prodige and was the 4052 when new. Made in 2005 and well kept by its present owner. It has a beautiful, centered tone and excellent intonation.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play. This is a perfect upgrade for a dedicated student.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks.
The conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, and excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features a 3rd-octave key, left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original hard shell case is in excellent condition.
