This fine intermediate level oboe was handcrafted in Germany. It was made in 2001 and well treated throughout its life. It plays with a sweet dark tone and very good intonation. It plays evenly throughout the octaves with an especially rich and resonant lower register.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There are no cracks.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, and both trill keys.
The original hard shell case is in excellent condition, the fitted Altieri case is in excellent condition.
