This Fox 400 pro level oboe was made in 2003. The Fox ease of playing and solid tone are present in this incredibly well-kept instrument.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play. This is a perfect upgrade to take someone into a music minor in college or regional orchestra.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There are small nicks and bumps as would be expected.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, and excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features a 3rd octave key, left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, split D, banana key, and both trill keys.
The Protec integral case is in near mint condition.
