This Fox Renard model 555 English horn was made in 2003. It plays with a rich tone and excellent intonation. Great projection, too.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this English horn here in our shop and it’s ready to play. This is an excellent choice for enthusiast players, schools, outdoor players, and anyone looking to add a stable, high-quality English horn to their repertoire.
The proprietary Fox made plastic resin body is in excellent condition.
The handmade modified conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, and excellent condition. The pads, corks, and bumpers are in excellent condition.
This English horn features a split plate half hole, left-hand F, F resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
Two silver Fox XL bocals are included, a #2, and a #3. Both are in excellent condition.
The original Fox integral case with shoulder strap and external pocket is in excellent condition. The original end caps, 3 reed case, and grease cup are included.
