This classic Heckel has high D and high E, 6 rollers, a low F key, and low G key adjustment screws. The long joint is made in the flat-top style. It also has a lined wing joint and small bore on the boot, an in-line body lock, and a left-hand whisper key lock.

Brian Charles just cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon here in our shop and it’s ready to play.

The maple wood body is in very good condition. Attributes include silver tone-hole inserts, an ivory bell ring, and thin Teflon bands at the ends of both tenons of the bass joint. It has no boot rot.

The German silver-plated keywork system is in very good condition with some expected wear. Very good pads throughout with some new pads as well.

The Heckel CC2 bocal is well suited to the instrument and has a pro patch on the upper bow of the bocal. The Fox integral case is in good condition.
