This is a rare find for $1,200. A fully decked-out grenadilla wood oboe in excellent condition. It plays well, and sounds good!
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play. This is a perfect upgrade from a beginner instrument.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There are no cracks.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features a 3rd-octave key, left-hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, split D key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original hard shell case is in very good condition with a few worn areas.
