This classic Loree was made in 1974 and owned by an adult enthusiast for many years. He’s retiring from playing and you get the chance to own this dark toned and balanced oboe. It plays evenly throughout the octaves with an especially rich and resonant lower register.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks. There are slight marks in the interior of the upper bore which do not affect tone, projection, or intonation.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in very good condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original Loree hard shell case is in excellent condition. The shearling lined Loree cover is worn as would be expected. Comes with original screwdriver, reed case, end caps, and grease cup.
