This pro model C Loree was made in 1977 and kept in wonderful condition throughout its life. It was previously owned and played by Professor Barbara LaFitte, and has been worked on when needed by renowned technician David Teitelbaum.
It plays evenly throughout the octaves with gorgeous lyrical tone.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys. A wider than usual “Dutch thumb rest” is installed. It’s a very comfortable option for your aching right thumb.
The original hard shell case is in excellent condition with minor wear on the exterior as would be expected. A generously sized shearling lined Cavallaro case cover is included.
