This upper intermediate level oboe was made in Germany in the 1990’s. It was manufactured by Kreul and sold under the name Lucerne. It’s been kept in marvelous condition throughout its life.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way. This instrument will be a solid upgrade and perdect for advancing students and community orchestra playing.
The grenadilla wood body is in good condition with no cracks. There are some scuffs and scrapes as can be seen in the photos, but nothing that affects the integrity of the wood.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has some new pads and good condition pads throughout.
This oboe features third octave key, left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, split D, banana key, and both trill keys.
The original hard shell case is in excellent condition with basic wear as would be expected.
