This Moosmann model 100AP advanced student-level bassoon was made in 2009 and has very good intonation and a particularly beautiful upper register.
Brian Charles just cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way. This pro-level instrument would work well for advanced students, doublers, and adult enthusiasts.
The maple wood body is in very good condition with no boot rot and no tone hole issues.
The German system silver-plated keywork system is clean and oiled.
This bassoon features silver water tube inserts, a lined wing joint, a lined small bore on the boot, a body lock, a crutch, and a crutch assembly. It has high D and high E, 9 rollers, and a right-hand whisper key lock.
The Heckel CC1 bocal is in excellent condition. The original Moosmann A1W and A2W bocals are in excellent condition and have a separate bocal case. The hard shell case and fitted cover are in very good condition.
