Description
This baroque bassoon by Guntram Wolf is pitched at A=415. It’s a custom-made classic known as “HKICW”, based on letters stamped on the original and which remains a mystery to this day.
It’s a one-owner instrument made in 2008. It has been used in professional situations and kept in excellent condition throughout its life.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon here in our shop. It’s ready to play in every way.
The gorgeous, special flamed mountain maple wood body is in near-mint condition with very limited signs of use.
The brass 4-key system plus added low Eb key is in excellent condition and has just been cleaned and oiled. Beautiful patination on the keys.
The three original M10 brass Wolf bocals (PX-340, PX-343, D4-338) are in excellent condition.
The wedge-style case with hide-away backpack straps is in excellent condition. 10 handmade reeds are included.
