Benson Bell Bassoon #19

A rare early Benson Bell in excellent condition, and a real find. Benson Bell is among the most respected bassoon makers in the world, and instruments from this era are increasingly hard to come by. This handsome maple bassoon has hard rubber liners and no cracks, and comes equipped with high D and E keys and six rollers, including a thumb F# roller added by Keith Bowen. It includes three bocals and a Vonk “Dutch” leg rest system already fitted, and has been regularly serviced, with service invoices included. Cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested by Brian Charles in our Kingston workshop, this bassoon is ready for the stage. It will be play-tested and carefully adjusted once more just before shipment for trial, so it arrives in optimal condition.
