Loree i-3 English horn with synthetic top joint, full view

Loree i-3 English Horn, Synthetic Top Joint #RS-21

$9,400

This pre-owned Loree English horn, model i-3 with synthetic top joint, was made in 2010 and has never been played. It is in mint condition. The tone is focused and dark, the intonation is excellent, and there’s a lovely bonus: you get to break it in. Brian Charles has personally cleaned, oiled, and adjusted the instrument in our Kingston workshop, and play-tested it to make sure it is fully prepared for performance. It will be play-tested and carefully adjusted once more just before shipment for trial, so it arrives in optimal condition.

Condition

Body: The synthetic top joint, grenadilla mid joint, and bell are all in mint, unplayed condition.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork is clean, bright, and in excellent mechanical condition. The instrument has been fully adjusted, with excellent pads and bumpers throughout. It has just been bore oiled and key oiled, and carefully play-tested.
