Description
This upper intermediate level Italian oboe was made in 1988. It has a warm and rich tone which sounds fantastic in large and small ensembles.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument is an excellent upgrade for an advancing player.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There was a very small crack on the top exterior of the middle joint, which has been professionally repaired and is barely noticeable.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. Some pads are new, while the others are in excellent condition.

The original hard shell case is in very good condition with average dents and bumps on the exterior and some of the inside velvet is worn.
