The Fox model III is patterned after the model II and is built from molded polypropylene and hand finished by Fox craftsmen in Indiana. These are among the most cosmetically pleasing plastic body bassoons ever made. The difference between the model III and the Model IV is that the III has metal bands for a professional look, and has a right hand whisper key lock as standard keywork. Both models are excellent choices for university music programs, military bands, and players seeking a durable, great sounding backup instrument.
