Temporary Pause on Instrument Trials and Sales

We are temporarily unable to send instruments for trial or purchase while we move our entire shop from New Hampshire to Kingston, New York, just north of New York City. We apologize for the delay in service during this transition.

This pro level Fox oboe was made in 1992. It’s a great plastic resin version of the original Fox pro oboe. Full conservatory keywork, and a sweet, stable sound plus durability adds up to an excellent performance instrument.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument is suited for any player looking for a durable instrument that sounds great and has all the attributes a pro looks for.
Condition:
Body: The plastic resin body is in excellent condition. Minor expected signs of use.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. Some pads are new, while the others are in excellent condition. Some minor plating loss on only the F# key (first finger, right hand) as shown in the photos.

Case:
The original hard shell case is in excellent condition with minor wear. The fitted cloth cover is in very good condition with normal exterior wear. A shoulder strap is not included.
