This stand provides the ultimate in security and adjustability. It’s built to withstand anything, yet it’s easy to adjust and transport.
Both the yoke and the base rest are adjustable, allowing you to secure your instrument either facing toward or away from the stand. The base rest leg is extendable for balanced positioning and compactness during transport.
The base cup securely holds the bassoon, even with a floor peg extended. The yoke is outfitted with a lever to adjust the overall height which accommodates different bassoon keywork placements. The well-placed and secure legs are easy to maneuver around other instruments in a tight orchestra or pit situation. The legs are secured with robust locking pins.
This stand is built to also accommodate bass clarinet.
The overall height extends from 26.4″ (67cm) to 39.8″ (99cm). It conveniently folds to 24.8″ (62cm) x 5.9″ (15cm) for transport. Total weight is just under 5 pounds (2.25kg).
