Description
This side-cut guillotine is a well-crafted and precise little machine sure to create accurate tip cuts in your double reed. Will work for Oboe, English horn, Oboe d’amore, Bassoon and Contrabassoon.
The hardwood body is channeled to support the reed evenly. The smooth sliding steel blade creates extremely precise and predictable results.
The length guide slides to support the end of your reed, and stays locked in place with the knurled position locking nut. The base is covered in felt to avoid scratching whatever surface it rests on.
