Temporary Pause on Instrument Trials and Sales

We are temporarily unable to send instruments for trial or purchase while we move our entire shop from New Hampshire to Kingston, New York, just north of New York City. We apologize for the delay in service during this transition.

This model SC-1 oboe was made in Italy in 2000. It’s in gorgeous condition, having been played little and been well cared for. It has a powerful sound with harmonic depth.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument will stand the test of time. It’s well made and ready for performance at student and advanced intermediate levels.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks.
Keywork: The full conservatory, silver-plated keywork system is in very clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. It has a covered D key and a covered G key, which is a help for those who routinely need to cover those holes more effectively.
