Description
This Puchner “Original” bassoon was made in the 1980’s. It’s a well used and clean classic instrument. Good tone and intonation plus projection.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.
Condition:
Body: The maple wood body is in good condition with no boot rot. There is wear at the open tone holes on the wing joint. The original finish is in better than usual condition. It has minor dings and dents.
Keywork: The German system silver plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. There is the usual plating loss at the touch points.

Bocals:
Comes with an Allgood model 282 in silver with little dings, and a Fox CVX #3 bocal in silver.
Case:
The Puchner original hard shell case is in worn but solid condition.
