This advanced intermediate Buffet 4052 was made in 2005 and kept in excellent condition throughout its very gentle life. Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance.

It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.

Body

The grenadilla wood body with resin lined bore is in excellent condition. There was a small crack at the top of the bell which is professionally repaired as shown in the photos.

Keywork

The modified conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. It has the upgraded third octave key.
