This Howarth professional instrument has great tonal color and density. The lyrical, yet dark tone is marvelous. The synthetic top joint ensures that this oboe won’t crack. It was made in England in 2000, and kept in excellent condition.

Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument is a perfect upgrade for someone entering college or joining an orchestra.

Condition

Body: The synthetic top joint and grenadilla wood body are in excellent condition with average signs of use.

Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system has been cleaned, oiled, and fully adjusted.
