A well-kept intermediate-level oboe from the renowned Laubin company. Barre by Laubin instruments are affordable and produce a sweet, centered tone with excellent intonation. It was made in 1970.

Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way.

A superb instrument for the advancing player. It would also make an exceptional first instrument.

Condition

The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There was a tiny crack in the bell, and at the top of the middle joint. They had been stable for years and have just been professionally repaired by Brian Charles and are very hard to even locate
The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, and excellent condition
Pads are either new or in excellent condition
