Loree AK+3 #TG-86 Oboe

This Loree AK+3 was made in 2014, returned to Loree in 2024 and outfitted with a Loree plastic top joint. It has a warm, centered Loree tone which is enhanced by the AK bore, which adds a lyrical quality.

Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.

Condition

Body: The body is in excellent plus condition. There are no cracks in the grenadilla middle joint and bell
The Loree plastic top joint was fitted in Paris at the Loree factory and is in near mint condition
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in extra clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. Some pads are new, while the others are in excellent plus condition.
