Marigaux 920 Altuglas Noir #39431

This pre-owned Marigaux 920 was made in 2016 and has been played very little. Its warm, focused tone with solid intonation, makes it a fine backup or performance instrument at the professional level. The high-density black composite / synthetic material offers the resonance and acoustic responsiveness of grenadilla wood while remaining immune to cracking from temperature and humidity changes. The body looks opaque from far away but can actually be seen through upon close inspection. Personally cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested by Brian Charles in our Kingston workshop, this oboe is fully prepared for performance. Before it ships for trial, it will be play-tested and adjusted once more, so it arrives in optimal condition.
