Puchner Cooper Model #9564

This pre-owned Puchner Nauheim bassoon was adjusted and tuned by professor Lewis Hugh Cooper when new. It was made in 1987 and offers a rich, colorful sound and excellent intonation in a well-maintained instrument. It is built with the full German key system with a high D key. The maple body is in excellent condition with a satin finish and tiger striping throughout. Includes a Heckel VCD #1, and a Heckel VCD #2 bocal and the original Puchner GEWA hard shell case and fitted cover. This Puchner is suitable for advancing students, serious amateurs and community musicians, university students and professionals. Personally cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested by Brian Charles in our Kingston workshop, this bassoon is fully prepared for performance. It will be play-tested and carefully adjusted once more just prior to shipment for trial, ensuring it arrives in optimal condition.
