Fox Pro Model 300 #7971 Oboe

This pro level Fox oboe was made in 1992. It’s a great plastic resin version of the original Fox pro oboe. Full conservatory keywork, and a sweet, stable sound plus durability adds up to an excellent performance instrument. Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.

This instrument is suited for any player looking for a durable instrument that sounds great and has all the attributes a pro looks for.

Body

The plastic resin body is in excellent condition. Minor expected signs of use.

Keywork

The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. Some pads are new, while the others are in excellent condition. Some minor plating loss on only the F# key (first finger, right hand) as shown in the photos.
