This German model Gordet is an upper intermediate level oboe, made in 1991. The German model has more substantial silver plating, and a richer and darker tone than the other Gordet models. This is the model preferred by many players. Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.

Condition

Body: The grenadilla wood body is in very good condition with average signs of wear. There was a crack in the upper joint, which was professionally repaired long ago.

Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. Some pads and bumpers are new, while the others are in very good condition.
