An exceptional classic with a modern Heckel sound. Made in 1907 and kept in fine condition throughout its professional life this bassoon is appropriate for professional performance. This instrument is “cured” and stable and needs no breaking in. It comes from the personal collection of noted scholar and bassoon collector Richard Murry. Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.
