This rich sounding Loree is a single owner instrument made in 1974. The complex, dark tone and excellent intonation are part of the heritage of these D series instruments.

Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.

Condition

Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. A small repaired crack in the top joint was professionally repaired with a pin. One trill tone hole was replaced
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. It has many new pads and bumpers and has just bore oiled, key oiled, and play tested
