Description
This Fox pro short bore bassoon was made in 1987 and kept in excellent condition. It plays with ease and offers flexibility and sonority in the upper register, which lends itself to expressive performances.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you.
Condition:
Body: The red maple wood body is in excellent condition with no boot rot, and no tone hole issues.
Keywork: The German system silver plated keywork system with offset high E and high F mechanism is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. The pads and corks are in excellent condition.
