This Glotin Type One oboe cane is gouged at a slightly thinner .59/.45 for greater response and reed making ease.
The designation ‘Rondo’ indicates the special, slightly narrower shape which provides enhanced projection.
The original tube cane diameter is 10.50mm to 11.00mm for a medium to medium small tip opening. This fine cane is lighter in density than their other types which helps provide a richer, cultured tone.
