Description
This upper intermediate level English horn was made in 2001 and played very little by a professional doubler. The covered (plateau) keywork makes this a more comfortable instrument to play with less finger spread and strength required.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this English horn in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. Perfect for an enthusiast, advancing player, or those who need an English horn to compliment the other instruments they play.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. Two cracks on the upper part of the bell have been professionally repaired.
Keywork: The modified conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. Some pads are new, while the others are in excellent condition.

Bocals:
The Loree #1, Loree #2, and Hiniker 2BM bocals in silver are all in excellent condition.
Case:
The original Howarth hard shell case and fitted shearling lined cover are in excellent condition with less than expected wear. Shoulder strap is not included. Included are the original reed case, tenon caps, and grease pot.
