The slightly parabolic shape of this highly refined mandrel allows for proper interior volume and precise fit of the reed to the bocal.
This is Rieger’s F5 model, which is a classic favored by most American players. The tip length is 53mm with a scribe at 30mm from the tip.
Use it as part of the Rieger system which includes the Rieger spiral reamer and the Rieger diamond reamer.
