Temporary Pause on Instrument Trials and Sales
November 2025 – Mid-January 2026
We are temporarily unable to send instruments for trial or purchase while we move our entire shop from New Hampshire to Kingston, New York, just north of New York City. We apologize for the delay in service during this transition.
If you’d like to be notified when trials and sales resume, please email us with your name, contact information, and the instrument you’re interested in. We’ll reach out as soon as we’re ready to resume shipments. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this exciting move.
This classic oboe, made in 1984, has had a single owner since the 1990s. It has a warm, focused tone with very good intonation throughout.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument is a fine choice for anyone above the basic level.
