Description
This German made Gebruder Moennig bassoon was made in 2010. It has a very consistent tone and intonation.
Brian Charles just went over this bassoon here in our shop and it’s ready to play in every way. This will make an excellent step-up instrument for an advancing player or pro doubler.
The maple wood body is in excellent condition with limited signs of use. The original rich red finish is in much better than average condition with very minor wear limited to the usual spots.
The German system silver-plated keywork system is clean, oiled, and polished. It has excellent condition pads, corks, and bumpers throughout the instrument.
This bassoon features plastic tone hole inserts, a high D key, a left-hand whisper key lock, a crutch and bracket, a body lock, and 5 rollers.
The two Moennig silver bocals, a #1 and a #2 are in excellent condition. An almost new ProTec integral case is included.
