Our Charles student bassoon cane is farmed in the South of France.
This quality bassoon cane is excellent reed making cane and has many of the characteristics of our Charles name brand. You’ll find minor variations in color and texture that do not affect reed making.
This cane is aged a minimum of two years.
Many teachers find this to be excellent for early reed making efforts. Some go on to play on it professionally.
