This pre-owned Loree AK+3 model offers a warm, focused tone with solid intonation – a classic standout instrument. Personally cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested by Brian Charles in our Kingston workshop, this oboe is fully prepared for performance. It will be play-tested and carefully adjusted once more just prior to shipment for trial, ensuring it arrives in optimal condition.

Condition

Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent overall condition, showing only light, expected wear. A small crack at the top of the bell has been professionally repaired and is now very difficult to detect.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork is clean, bright, and in excellent mechanical condition. The instrument has been fully adjusted, with some new pads and excellent pads throughout. It has just been bore oiled, key oiled, and carefully play-tested.
