New from the factory, this full conservatory A. Laubin oboe features the new Laubinite synthetic top joint paired with a grenadilla body. Laubinite is A. Laubin’s new proprietary material, engineered to resist cracking while offering excellent vibratory response. It provides a density and tonal color similar to grenadilla, with a distinctive grain pattern visible in the accompanying close-up photo. The warm, focused tone and crack-resistant top joint make this a great choice for anyone seeking traditional Laubin sound in a more durable instrument. It’s fitted with traditional cork pads, and the seven lower pads use traditional skin pads with reflectors to help focus the tone. Come try it along with our other new A.
