New from the factory – this full conservatory A. Laubin oboe features a gorgeous cocobolo wood body with a sleeved top joint. The warm, focused sound and the classic aesthetic and tonal features make this standout instrument. Features the new Valentino “greenback black” laminated pads. They provide exceptional tonal clarity, projection, and articulation. The touch is positive, and quiet. They seal well and are expected to be very long lasting.     • The cocobolo wood body is stunning to look at and offers a density and vibratory character comparable to grenadilla, with a similar weight and a dark, focused tone. The bell ring is carbon fiber.

    Keywork

    • The full conservatory, full plateau, silver-plated keywork is handmade, and its brand-new sparkle beautifully complements the exotic wood's coloring.
