Loree Model C #HC-07 Oboe

This is the classic pro model Loree, made in 1984 in excellent condition. It’s had a single owner since the 1990s. The dark and focused tone is superb and it has very good intonation throughout. Personally cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested by Brian Charles in our Kingston workshop, this oboe is fully prepared for performance. It will be play-tested and carefully adjusted once more just prior to shipment for trial, ensuring it arrives in optimal condition.

Condition

Body: The grenadilla wood body is in very good condition. The two small cracks were repaired long ago. There is one at the top of the middle joint and another at the top of the bell both of which look great and are hard to find.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, and fully adjusted condition. There is light tarnish. The pads and bumpers are in very good condition.

Case

The original Loree hard shell case is in very good condition. The silk material between the lower and upper shell is torn which does not affect the integrity in any way. The shearling lined fitted case cover is in excellent condition.
