Description
This fine upper intermediate level oboe was made in 2015 and has been a one owner oboe since new. It plays with a sweet dark tone and very good intonation. It plays evenly throughout the octaves with an especially rich and resonant lower register.
Brian Charles cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe here in our shop and it’s ready to play. This is a perfect upgrade from your starter instrument.
The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition with no cracks. There is minor wear as would be expected.
The conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has some new pads and excellent condition pads throughout.
This oboe features a 3rd octave key, left hand F, F resonance key, low Bb, Bb resonance key, and both trill keys.
The original hard shell case and upgraded case cover are both in excellent condition. The original polishing cloth, screwdriver, and two reed cases are included.
