This grenadilla wood Loree bass oboe was made in 1982 and played professionally all its life. We can thank Paul Laubin for the tuning and other work that provides this instrument with stability, rich dark tone, and excellent intonation.
The busy free-lance owner is located in the Hudson Valley of NY. Professional players and advanced enthusiasts would do well to own this one.

The beautifully grained grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. No cracks, no issues.
The full conservatory, full plateau silver-plated keywork system is in clean, oiled, excellent condition. It has excellent condition pads throughout.
This low B bass oboe has left hand F, F resonance key, banana key, and both trill keys.
Four silver-plated Loree bocals are included: a #1, two #2’s, and a #3, all with new cork. Five bass oboe reeds and a ProTec padded neck strap are included as well.
The original Loree hard shell case is in excellent condition.
