Description
An oboe with these playing characteristics, aesthetics, and in this condition is unusual to find. This oboe was made in 2020, stored and occasionally played with great care, and has been played under an hour. It’s in mint plus condition. The owner loved it, but has developed a hand issue that stopped them from playing.
The Opera model is a top level pro instrument from this Italian maker. This instrument has immaculate gold plating, and a stunning, immaculate rosewood body. The tone is rich, warm, centered, and resonant, with exceptional lyrical qualities. It plays fluidly and easily throughout the entire range of the instrument.
Brian Charles examined and played this oboe when it arrived and found it to be in mint plus condition. Essentially like new. It will be fully play-tested again, and adjusted if need be just before it goes out on trial to you.
Condition:
Body: The colorful rosewood body is spectacular. It has no faults of any kind. The gold plating compliments this exceptionally beautiful body.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau gold-plated keywork system is in immaculate condition. There is not a fault to be found anywhere on the keywork.

Case:
