High quality, hand-finished, and easy to play! These reeds are recommended for less experienced and returning players.
Most players choose the medium strength for the best balance of tone and ease of playing. Medium-soft strength is more difficult to control for beginners but great for those with braces or more developed mouth strength. Medium-hard strength reeds are ready to play and have enough cane left for adjustments to be made by the player or the teacher.
Each reed is hand-finished by Brian Charles and is made of imported French Charles cane. These reeds feature the classic German/American style profile. The well-defined collar, moderate spine, and light tip make this an easy-playing, dependable reed. They are separately packed in a clear, hard plastic shell case, marked for easy identification and suitable for long-term storage.
