Description
The Fox 400 is an all-grenadilla wood model from their pro line. This one was made in 1998 and kept in great condition. It’s a sweet-sounding instrument with great stability and solid intonation.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this oboe in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument is a perfect upgrade for an advancing player.
Condition:
Body: The grenadilla wood body is in excellent condition. There was a very small crack on the top joint which has been professionally repaired and is barely noticeable.
Keywork: The full conservatory, full plateau silver plated keywork system is in clean, shiny, excellent condition. It has excellent condition pads throughout.
