Description
Heckel #10,233 has had three pro owners since it was new in February of 1959. This is one of the liveliest and most resonant 10,000 series Heckels we’ve ever had the pleasure to feature. It has been handled by top bassoon techs. It has the original keywork, with addition of a high E key by Charles Huebner. It has no signs of unnecessary screw holes or patches.
Brian Charles has cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and play-tested this bassoon in our shop, ensuring it’s ready for performance. It will be fully play-tested, and adjusted again just before it goes out on trial to you. This instrument is a pro players instrument, especially a first position bassoonist who has been looking for their lifetime Heckel.
