CC = Soft silver alloy. Standard bore size. Warm, blended tone.
Z = German hard silver (brighter tone)
The markings are correct and seem to contradict one another. CC indicates soft silver, and Z indicates hard German silver. There are many small dents, and a major patch at the top of the bow. It plays well though.
